Mizizi (spoken Misisi, with a soft "s") is Swahili, wich is spoken in large parts of East Africa and means 'roots'. Why do we call ourselves that?

At Mizizi we support project ideas, aka “young plants”, so that they can put down deep roots on site until they are stable enough to continue to grow independently, to form new branches and flowers and to enrich their local ecosystem.
